OEG Energy (OEG) has been awarded a three-year contract by Ørsted. The contract covers crane and lift servicing, lifting inspections, and maintenance support across Ørsted’s German offshore wind cluster, which includes six wind farms.
Under the agreement, the company will inspect 337 turbines, operating from a vessel provided by Ørsted and mobilised from the Port of Emden. The scope of work includes inspections of lifting equipment, cranes, service lifts, and associated electrical and mechanical components. Safety-critical checks will also be carried out on anchor points, ladders, fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and evacuation equipment. Additionally, OEG will provide ad-hoc crane and lifting support for minor repairs and troubleshooting.
