Renewable Power Capital (RPC) and Procter & Gamble have entered into a 10-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for over 90% of the electricity produced by the 140 MW Sörlidberget onshore wind farm in Sweden, equating to an anticipated 400 GWh per annum of green electricity.
Sörlidberget is part of RPC's 553 MW cluster comprising four wind farms located in the Kramfors and Sollefteå municipalities, presently under construction. This marks the fourth PPA RPC has concluded for the cluster, having previously secured three agreements – two 10-year PPAs with LyondellBasell and one 10-year PPA with Ardagh. Nearly all the renewable energy generated by this cluster has now been contracted. RPC announced in January 2024 that it had placed an order for 80 Nordex turbines for this cluster. Nordex is scheduled to commence turbine delivery and installation in the spring of 2025, with operations projected to commence between Q4 2025 and Q1 2026.
