Wind Multiplikator has been appointed contractor for the service and maintenance of the Global Tech I offshore wind farm. The agreement begins on 1 January 2026 and runs for an initial term of 10 years, covering 80 Areva M5000 wind turbines.
The full-service scope includes scheduled maintenance, statutory inspections and certifications, troubleshooting with engineering support, preventive maintenance, a wind farm availability warranty, spare parts management, and compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental requirements. Logistics will primarily rely on a commissioning service operation vessel (CSOV). All operations will be coordinated from Wind Multiplikator’s base harbour in Emden, Germany.
