Maine floating offshore wind project paused amid industry uncertainty

Enercon installs E-175 EP5 E2 prototype in Germany

Enercon has installed the prototype of its new E-175 EP5 E2 wind turbine, with a rated output of 7.0 MW, in Wachendorf, Lower Saxony, Germany. The turbine is mounted on a hybrid tower with a hub height of 162 metres.
KK Wind Solutions expands with new US regional division

The division will be led by Kim Wichmann-Hansen, currently Chief Service Officer of KK Wind Solutions, and will operate from the company’s new US headquarters in Houston, Texas.
EDPR auctions 90 Vestas wind turbines and auxiliary materials in Colombia

EDPR is auctioning 90 Vestas V162-5.6 MW wind turbines originally acquired for projects in La Guajira, Colombia. The sale will be conducted through an online auction via Escrapalia, the auction platform of Surus. The wind turbines, from Vestas' EnVentus platform, were intended for use in La Guajira, one of Colombia’s most promising wind energy regions, but regulatory obstacles have prevented their deployment.
Clearway and Vestas sign turbine supply agreement for West Virginia repowering project

Clearway Energy has signed a turbine supply agreement with Vestas for the repowering of the 335 MW Mount Storm Wind project in Grant County, West Virginia, USA. The agreement covers two phases of the project.
County Administrative Board supports Fyrskeppet offshore wind farm in Sweden

Wirescan receives investment from Adara Ventures

Wirescan has secured investment from Adara Ventures, a European venture capital firm specialising in deep technology. Originally developed in Norway at the Institute for Energy Technology (IFE) by Paolo Franco Fantoni, Wirescan's LIRA (Line Impedance Resonance Analysis) technology was designed for non-destructive cable testing in nuclear power plants. It is now used across industries, including for monitoring subsea cables in offshore wind farms.
Nordex secures 750 MW wind turbine orders in Türkiye

Nordex has received two orders totalling 750 MW from a wind energy project developer in Türkiye. The company will supply and install 108 N163/6.X turbines for two wind projects, with installation set to begin in mid-2026. The wind farms are expected to be completed in 2027. The customer and project names have not been disclosed.
TotalEnergies and European Energy strengthen partnership in Danish offshore wind
