Masdar, alongside Infinity Power and Hassan Allam Utilities, has reached a Land Access Agreement with the Egyptian Government for their consortium's 10GW capacity onshore wind farm in Egypt.
The agreement grants the consortium access to a 3025 km2 area of land in West Suhag, facilitating the conduct of essential development studies to move the project forward. These studies will encompass resource measurement campaigns, geotechnical and topographic surveys, as well as environmental assessments. The wind farm is expected to produce 47,790 GWh of clean energy per year.
