Nadara has appointed Aker Solutions, through its consultancy business Entr and wholly owned subsidiary Unitech Power Systems, to carry out electrical infrastructure studies for the Bellrock offshore wind farm. The work will support the development of the project's electrical infrastructure concept, helping define an optimised transmission system from offshore power generation to the onshore grid connection.
Veolia and TotalEnergies sign renewable electricity agreement in Spain

Veolia and TotalEnergies have signed a power purchase agreement to support the decarbonisation of municipal water management in Spain. Under the agreement, TotalEnergies will supply more than 350 GWh of renewable electricity annually, backed by guarantees of origin, to more than 3,000 Veolia supply points linked to municipal water services.

Iberdrola reports higher electricity distribution and increased renewable capacity

Iberdrola increased the amount of electricity distributed across its global networks by 6.3% in the first half of 2026 to 136,648 GWh, reflecting higher electricity demand and continued electrification. Electricity distribution increased across all of the group's operating regions. Cowi supports certification for 315 MW offshore wind project in Japan

Heerema shortens North Atlantic transit using voyage optimisation

Heerema Marine Contractors has reduced the North Atlantic transit time of its semi-submersible crane vessel Sleipnir by 2.5 days during a voyage optimisation pilot with French ocean intelligence company Amphitrite. The optimised route shortened the voyage by 240 nautical miles and reduced carbon dioxide emissions by up to 18%, while maintaining higher average speeds without increasing fuel consumption. The pilot combined Heerema's offshore operational experience with Amphitrite's vessel-specific voyage optimisation platform.
