OEG Renewable Energy (OEGR) has recently signed a multi-year framework agreement with Ørsted for their Northeastern US offshore wind projects.
Under this agreement, OEGR’s topside division has been granted exclusivity for all temporary power scopes required by Ørsted during project commissioning. The agreement took effect immediately with OEGR supplying temporary power scope to the offshore South Fork Wind project operated by Ørsted and Eversource. OEGR provided 8 portable generator sets along with technician support. Temporary power generators provide power to the turbine during commissioning activities prior to a grid connection and during operations and maintenance (O&M) downtime.
