CM Energy has launched its Meridian Class Commissioning and Service Operation Vessel (CSOV), a vessel platform developed for use in the offshore wind industry. The Meridian Class is intended to support offshore wind farm commissioning, operations and maintenance, as well as major component exchange work.
USA wind power reaches record capacity as growth outlook remains positive

Wind power generation and installed capacity in the USA reached record levels in 2025, according to a status report published by the Sun Day Campaign using data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and industry sources. Wind generated 464,391 GWh of electricity in 2025, accounting for 10.27% of total net electricity generation, up from 451,904 GWh in 2024. Installed utility-scale wind capacity reached 161.1 GW at the end of 2025, representing 11.91% of total available generating capacity.

Nordex secures 255 MW of new wind turbine orders in Germany

Nordex has secured new orders in Germany totalling approximately 255 MW during the first two months of the second quarter. The contracts cover 14 wind energy projects and a total of 39 turbines. The orders include 19 N163/6.X turbines, 11 N175/6.X turbines and nine N149 turbines. All contracts include long-term service and maintenance agreements.

Ramachandran brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across the energy, industrial products and vertical mobility sectors in India, Southeast Asia and Australia. GE Vernova has signed an agreement with Powerica to supply 28 of its 3.8 MW-154m onshore wind turbines for the Botad Wind Farm in Gujarat, India. The order represents a total capacity of 106.4 MW and includes turbine supply and installation. The project marks the fourth wind farm collaboration between GE Vernova and Powerica.

Sonardyne and AMOG sign floating offshore wind monitoring agreement
