Schaeffler, in partnership with the Lindø Offshore Renewables Center (LORC), has commissioned a new large-scale test rig for rotor bearings in Lindø, Denmark. Developed together with LORC and R&D Test Systems, the installation will be used by Schaeffler to test rotor bearing arrangements for the next generation of wind turbines in collaboration with turbine manufacturers.

The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission has approved the acquisition of Allete by Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) and Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP). With all regulatory approvals now in place, the transaction is expected to close in late 2025 following the commission’s written order.

In the third quarter of 2025, Nordex recorded orders totalling 2,170 MW in the Projects segment, excluding service business. This represents an increase of around 26% compared with the same period in 2024 (1,726 MW). For the first nine months of 2025, total order intake reached 6,661 MW, up from 5,083 MW in the previous year.
