GE Vernova plans to invest nearly $100 million to strengthen its US onshore wind manufacturing facilities in Pensacola, Florida; Schenectady, New York; and Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Ørsted’s Board of Directors has appointed Rasmus Errboe, currently Deputy CEO and Chief Commercial Officer, as the new Group President and CEO, replacing Mads Nipper. Nipper, who joined Ørsted in January 2021, will step down as CEO on 1 February 2025, at which point Errboe will assume the role.
Iberdrola has signed power purchase agreements (PPAs) totalling 1,251 MW in 2024, a 38% increase compared to 2023. In Iberia, agreements were reached with Alcampo (Auchan), Burger King, BP, and Grespanaria, among others, covering approximately 900 MW.
