HSI consortium advances Ostwind 3 with sail-away of Jasmund substation and jacket

The HSI consortium, made up of HSM Offshore Energy, Smulders and Iv, has announced yard completion and sail-away of the Jasmund offshore substation. The topside, measuring 48 metres by 33 metres, standing 17.5 metres high and weighing about 4,500 tonnes, has departed the HSM Offshore Energy Stormpolder yard (Netherlands). The associated 72-metre jacket has left the Smulders yard in Vlissingen (Netherlands).
ACP records USA clean power surge as policy uncertainty slows new contracts

GE Vernova to supply turbines for Gurbanesti wind farm in Romania

GE Vernova has signed an agreement with Greenvolt Power, part of Greenvolt Group, to supply, install and commission 42 of its 6.1 MW–158 metre onshore wind turbines for the Gurbanesti wind farm in Călărași county, Romania. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2026.
Van Oord completes monopile installation at Windanker offshore wind farm

Van Oord has completed the transport and installation of all 21 monopiles for Iberdrola’s Windanker offshore wind farm. The work included loading the monopiles at the fabrication site in Spain and transporting them to the Port of Rønne, Denmark. Manufactured by a joint venture between Navantia and Windar, the monopiles measure 10 metres in diameter, 70.6 to 86.6 metres in length, and weigh up to 2,145 tonnes. From the port, they were lifted with MTC cranes and towed by two tugs to the installation vessel Svanen.
