The first Russian plant for manufacturing composite wind turbine blades has begun operations at Rusatom Vetrolopasti JSC in Ulyanovsk, part of Rosatom’s Composite division. The facility produces wind turbine blades that are 51 metres long and weigh 8.5 tons.
Equinor has completed the acquisition of a 10 percent shareholding in Ørsted, as announced on 7 October 2024. Following approvals under applicable Foreign Direct Investment regulations, Equinor has acquired an additional 0.2 percent shareholding, corresponding to 840,764 shares, in Ørsted.
